Compassionate care
We bring kindness into everyday support. We are patient, calm and consistent, especially when someone is anxious, overwhelmed or finding it hard to be understood. We believe people should feel cared for, not managed.

Our supported living service exists to empower people to live the lives they choose. We deliver culturally aware support that puts each person at its centre, celebrates individuality, promotes independence and creates opportunities for people to thrive within their own homes, relationships and communities. Whether someone is living with a learning disability, autism, mental health needs or complex life experiences, we work alongside them to build confidence, achieve meaningful outcomes and realise their full potential.
We work with housing providers to create suitable, accessible and comfortable environments that reflect each person’s needs, preferences and identity.
A consistent staff team takes the time to understand each person, remaining attentive and responsive to their needs. We offer the right balance of support and autonomy, helping people feel secure while retaining choice and control over their everyday lives.
We use Positive Behaviour Support as a framework that puts the person at its centre, helps us understand communication and improves quality of life. We work within our team’s competence, with specialist input where needed.

We believe the best outcomes are achieved through strong, trusted partnerships. From the very beginning we work collaboratively with the people we support, their families, advocates, social workers, health professionals and commissioners to ensure support is personalised, coordinated and responsive to changing needs.
We value open communication, shared decision making and honest relationships built on trust, respect and transparency. By listening to every voice and working together, we create support that reflects each person’s goals, strengths, culture and aspirations.
We want people to feel completely at ease in their support, understood, included, respected and able to grow. We want families to feel confidence and trust. We want staff to feel proud of the care they provide and supported to keep learning.
We are ambitious about the quality of our work. We do not settle for routine support when thoughtful, creative and personalised support can make life better. We listen carefully, adapt with purpose and keep improving, because people deserve support that moves with them as their lives change.
Clearway exists to make a meaningful difference: to protect dignity, promote independence, celebrate identity and help people live safer, fuller and more connected lives.

We bring kindness into everyday support. We are patient, calm and consistent, especially when someone is anxious, overwhelmed or finding it hard to be understood. We believe people should feel cared for, not managed.
We listen with care and without assumptions. We learn from the person, their family, their culture, their communication, their routines and their lived experience. Good support starts with understanding, and understanding starts with listening.
We believe every person has the same right to respect, opportunity, safety and belonging. We challenge barriers, unfairness and discrimination, and we make sure people are included in ways that are meaningful to them.
For us, excellence means knowing the person beyond the label. We understand that autistic people and people with learning disabilities may communicate, learn, feel, connect and experience the world in different ways. Our role is to listen closely, adapt thoughtfully and provide support that is skilled, consistent and full of respect. We build on strengths, reduce barriers, protect wellbeing and help each person move towards a life that feels safe, meaningful and their own.
We respect the whole person. This includes culture, faith, language, heritage, gender, sexuality, family life, personal history and individual values. We ask, listen and learn rather than making assumptions.
We create support that helps people feel safe in body and mind. We pay attention to routines, environments, relationships, sensory needs and emotional wellbeing, because safety is not only about protection; it is also about feeling secure, settled and understood.
We believe everyone should have the chance to grow. Independence looks different for each person, so we support progress in ways that are realistic, respectful and meaningful. We notice the small steps, celebrate achievement and never place limits on someone’s potential.
The person’s voice is at the centre of everything we do. We take communication seriously in all its forms and involve people in decisions about their care, home, relationships, activities and future. This is their life, and our role is to support them to live it with dignity, choice and confidence.
