Work with us

Colleagues discussing support around a table

How we work with commissioners

Our relationship with commissioners is built on transparency, partnership, and a shared commitment to achieving the best outcomes for people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. We understand the pressures commissioners face and the importance of placing individuals in services that are safe, innovative, and capable of meeting their needs.

We work collaboratively from the very first conversation, ensuring that referrals are carefully considered, risks are clearly understood, and placements are thoughtfully matched. We provide detailed, honest information about our capacity, our environment, and our ability to meet the person’s needs.

We deliver personalised, culturally aware support that is evidence led, trauma informed and underpinned by exceptional governance. Through honesty, collaboration and continuous improvement, we support people to achieve meaningful outcomes.

After a placement is agreed

Once a placement is agreed, we maintain open communication with commissioners, offering regular updates, transparent reporting, and early escalation of concerns. We recognise that many people we support have complex histories, fluctuating needs, or patterns of behaviour that require sensitive, coordinated responses.
We work closely with social workers, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that support plans remain dynamic, personalised, and aligned with the person’s goals.

Why partners choose Clearway

For commissioners

Strong partnerships are built on trust, openness and a shared commitment to helping people thrive. We work alongside commissioners through honest conversations, timely information and thoughtful review of each person’s support.

Our approach combines accountability with an understanding of what matters to the person. Together, we identify concerns, respond to changing needs and keep improving, with dignity, safety and meaningful opportunities at the centre of our work.

Property partners

We work with property owners and housing providers to create suitable environments for supported living across the West Midlands. We develop property briefs around the person and use individual assessments and careful compatibility checks.

We work transparently on due diligence, property readiness, repairs and ongoing assurance, while keeping landlord responsibilities separate from care and support.

Clear responsibilities and careful planning help us develop environments around the people who live in them.
